This four-week virtual gathering will help you persist through summertime distractions, maintaining creativity and a joy-filled writing practice all season long.

Imagine a front porch gathering—fireflies and cafe lights, a glass of iced tea sweating beside you, one leg drawn up on the rocking chair to steady your journal, and a cadre of fellow word-lovers nearby. We’ll unwind together, mining through our week for the gems we want to preserve in story, and then spin words into the pages of our notebooks.

Adrienne will serve as the guide for your summer writing journey, guiding you to prioritize your creative expression through weekly check-ins, prompts, and opportunities to share your work.

Joining into Sunday Evening Stories offers a creative environment that encourages you to explore and produce fresh ideas for your writing, in addition to facilitating a warm and encouraging environment for your writing.

What participants can expect:

  • Five 1-hour Zoom calls with Adrienne (replays available upon request)

  • June 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 from 8:30-9:30pm Eastern/5:30-6:30pm Pacific

Each session will include writing prompts, time to write, and opportunities to share and celebrate your work in community.

Course will run with a minimum of 6 participants.

What women are saying about Adrienne’s workshops:

“Adrienne’s workshops are life. If you haven't taken one, do it! You will not be disappointed—you will leave encouraged and inspired. Every time I see one of her workshops pass up on Marketplace I'm practically leaning over my desk frantically waving my hand, Hermoine Granger style, thinking ME! ME! I want to be in that class please!”

“Adrienne is an engaging, excellent teacher. Her courses are such a rich experience!”

“Adrienne’s workshop was such a great experience. Reading my work and people repeating lines that they liked of mine. I appreciated being pushed to be vulnerable and read, and have positive feedback, as I grow.”

“Adrienne does a wonderful job. The quality of her workshops and content is excellent!”
