Remember those books? If you want to do this, turn to page 47, if you want that, turn to page 62. The author already made decisions and established a structure, but as the reader, you got to participate in creating the experience.
That’s the idea for this workshop offering.
Maybe you’re feeling stuck and want a generative experience with multiple creative exercises during a single two-hour workshop on a Tuesday afternoon.
Maybe you want to learn more about braided essays and have three hours — or three weeks — to explore the topic.
Maybe you want to learn about Voice or Setting or Dialogue.
Or maybe you’ve always wanted to take a workshop that Sonya’s offered, but haven’t had the time or money and want to tailor it to your bandwidth and budget.
Grab a group of friends and brainstorm what you want to learn about, how much time you have to do so, and a budget range. Or come up with an idea and reach out to the Exhale group at large, inviting others to join you.
Then, email sonya.spillmann@gmail.com to get the process started.
Together, your group and Sonya will work to create a custom workshop experience that serves you best.
Once a topic, time frame/dates, and price have been agreed upon, payment will be made to Exhale.
