Sky: the upper atmosphere or expanse of space that constitutes an apparent great vault or arch over the earth : heaven : weather in the upper atmosphere

Do you ever lay on your back and watch clouds shift into shapes and roll across the sky? Have you ever pleaded with the heavens to spare you from another ounce of pain? What do you dream about when you sit in the window seat of an airplane and gaze out into the earth’s atmosphere? When you close your eyes and think of the word “sky,” what comes to mind? A great expanse? Possibility? Another world you’ve yet to enter? Tell us how you’ve experienced the sky.
